Party & Event Terms

Thank you for choosing Sparklez Slimez! These Party & Event Terms apply to the services described in your Sparklez Slimez invoice. Please review them before submitting your booking deposit.

 

1. Booking & Payment

A 50% non-refundable booking deposit is required to reserve your event date and time. Your reservation is not confirmed until the booking deposit has been received.

The remaining balance is due on or before the date of the event unless otherwise agreed in writing.

By submitting the booking deposit, you acknowledge that you have received, reviewed, and agree to these Sparklez Slimez Party & Event Terms.

2. Cancellations

If you cancel your event, the booking deposit is non-refundable. You will not be responsible for the remaining balance unless otherwise stated in a separate written agreement for a custom or large-scale event.

3. Rescheduling

We understand that plans change! Sparklez Slimez will make reasonable efforts to accommodate one reschedule requested at least 7 days before the event, subject to availability. Your booking deposit may be transferred to the rescheduled date.

Requests made with less than 7 days' notice will be considered on a case-by-case basis. Rescheduling is subject to Sparklez Slimez's availability and is not guaranteed.

4. Participant Count

Please provide your final participant count at least 7 days before the event. Your final confirmed participant count will be the minimum number charged, even if fewer guests ultimately participate.

Additional participants may be accommodated on the day of the event if staffing, supplies, space, and time permit and will be charged at the applicable additional-participant rate. Sparklez Slimez cannot guarantee accommodation of participants beyond the confirmed count.

5. Event Space & Setup

The client is responsible for providing a safe, accessible, and reasonably level area appropriate for the booked activities.

Unless otherwise agreed, Sparklez Slimez will provide the standard tables, activity supplies, equipment, and materials necessary to operate the booked Sparklez Slimez activity or station. Please provide reasonable access to the event space before the scheduled start time for unloading and setup.

6. Outdoor Events & Weather

For outdoor events, the client is responsible for providing a location reasonably protected from unsafe or unsuitable weather conditions. Sparklez Slimez may provide a 10' x 10' canopy when appropriate and available; however, a canopy may not be sufficient in rain, high winds, extreme heat, or other unsafe conditions.

Sparklez Slimez reserves the right to modify, delay, relocate, or discontinue an activity when weather or site conditions make operation unsafe or impractical. Whenever reasonably possible, we will work with you to find an alternative solution.

7. Travel & Parking

Standard travel within 10 miles of Pasadena, California is included unless otherwise stated in your invoice. Events outside the included service area may be subject to an additional travel fee, which will be disclosed before booking.

Any required event parking, parking garage, or valet charges incurred by Sparklez Slimez staff in connection with the event may be added to the final balance.

8. Activity Materials & Property

Sparklez Slimez activities may involve slime, glue, pigments, glitter, clay, sand, beads, charms, adhesives, and other craft or sensory materials.

While our team takes reasonable precautions and cleans our activity area following the event, certain materials may stain, stick to, or otherwise affect clothing, furniture, flooring, or other surfaces. The client is responsible for selecting an appropriate activity area and protecting surrounding property and personal belongings as needed.

9. Event Timing

Sparklez Slimez will make reasonable efforts to accommodate minor event delays. However, late guest arrival or a delayed start does not guarantee an extension of the scheduled service period.

Extensions may be accommodated at Sparklez Slimez's discretion based on staff availability, event scheduling, and other circumstances and may be subject to additional charges.

10. Safety & Participation

Children should be appropriately supervised by a responsible adult throughout the event. Sparklez Slimez staff are activity hosts and do not provide childcare or general supervision of event guests.

Clients and guests are responsible for informing Sparklez Slimez of relevant allergies or sensitivities before participating and for following reasonable instructions provided by Sparklez Slimez staff. Sparklez Slimez may stop or modify an activity if continued participation presents a safety concern.

11. Photography & Video

Photography or video for Sparklez Slimez marketing purposes is not required as a condition of booking. Any permission for Sparklez Slimez to use identifiable photographs or video of participants for social media, website, advertising, or other promotional purposes will be obtained separately where appropriate.

12. Changes to Your Booking

Any significant changes to the booked activities, event location, participant count, event duration, or other services may result in an adjustment to the price and are subject to availability.

Your invoice, together with these Party & Event Terms and any written modifications agreed to by Sparklez Slimez and the client, constitutes the agreement for the booked services.
